Second Annual Real Champions Fight Night

Saturday, September 30, 2023 (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

The City of Saint Charles presents the Second Annual Real Champions Fight Night event in conjunction with Boxing Therapy gym. The night will consist of amateur boxing matches, as well as two matches between St. Charles Police and St. Charles Fire departments. In addition, during intermissions, matches between differently-abled adults that are part of Boxing Therapy will also show off their skills.

Before the event, a Mental Health corner will feature organizations from the area offering various resources. In addition, kids will have the opportunity to “punch paint” a picture. Some paintings will be auctioned off at the event to benefit Backstoppers.

The event will take place in Frenchtown, with the boxing ring being set up in the street on Second and Randolph Streets. Food, drinks, and mental health corner and activities begin at 5:00 p.m. with the first match between St. Charles Police Chief Ray Juengst versus City of Saint Charles Fire Battalion Chief Jamie Young kicking the event off at 6:00 p.m.
