Cottleville Community Fire Protection District Celebrates Newly Remodeled Facility with Ribbon Cutting

Fire Chief Skip Stephens and Assistant Chief / Fire Marshal Ryan Roberts celebrated the completion of the remodel of Station #1 and Administration Building for Cottleville Community Fire Protection District.

Joining Skip and Ryan were members of the Board of Directors, staff, local elected officials, representatives with the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Cottleville - Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce and St. Charles Regional Chamber.

This construction was made possible by a no tax increase Bond renewal overwhelmingly supported by voters in 2020. Construction in the Administration Building included ADA compliant updates to restrooms and other areas of the building, renovation and expansion of the Board Room, updates to offices and improved security.

The apparatus bay included new overhead doors, flooring, lighting and ventilation systems. The living quarters remodel included comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire system upgrades, flooring and hard surfaces replacement to include non-porous surfaces for cancer prevention purposes. CFPD is grateful for the continued support of the citizens to make this renovation possible.
