Ole Tyme Produce, Inc. Celebrates 50 Years in Business with Celebratory Ribbon Cutting
Joan Daleo, Owner of Ole Tyme Produce, Inc. celebrated the 50th anniversary of being in business with a ribbon cutting celebration on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Joining Joan was her father Joe, Founder of Ole Tyme Produce, Inc., nearly all 70 employees of Ole Tyme Produce, Inc., many of the produce suppliers from around the country, representatives with Governor Parson’s office, Scott Drachnik from the EDC of St. Charles County, Missouri State Representative Travis Wilson, Scott Tate and ambassadors with the St. Charles Regional Chamber.
Located at 3840 Millstone Parkway in St. Charles, Ole Tyme Produce is the largest woman-owned, fresh food distributor in the state of Missouri. Customers include restaurants, hospitals, schools, hotels and other entertainment and hospitality venues within a 180-mile radius of St. Charles and the company distributes locally grown fruits and vegetables, dairy, meat, seafood, herbs and grocery items.
From its humble beginnings as a two-bay operation on Produce Row in the City of St. Louis to the 60,000-sqquare-foot facility in Fountain Lakes, Ole Tyme Produce shares its success with local nonprofits by donating food to Operation Food Search which serves 200,000 people a month, as a donor.
