Salvation Army Celebrating 75th Anniversary of Tree of Lights

Member News City of St. Peters St. Charles County City of St. Charles General News Article

The 75th Tree of Lights is here! The Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Campaign is a historic tradition that rings in the Christmas season throughout the region. This year, we are celebrating our 75th Tree of Lights. This very special anniversary showcases the dedication and generosity of our region to create a community where everyone has opportunity and access to vital resources. Join us in sharing the legacy of this long-standing campaign. Help us meet human need this holiday season. Love beyond.

The Salvation Army is asking businesses throughout the St. Louis region to put up a tree and have it denoted as one of 75 Salvation Army holiday trees. The Salvation Army will provide your business a sign to display next to or on their tree. The sign will share information about The Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Campaign, through a QR code to learn more or to donate. The sign will indicate the number of each tree. For example, Tree 6/75.  Feel free to be creative. The tree can be unique to your business. A donut shop could display a Tree of Donuts.

The Salvation Army will be promoting the 75 Tree of Lights Campaign to bring awareness to The Salvation Army and visitors to your business. If you are interested in participating in the 75 Tree of Lights, please contact Vicki White by e-mail at vicki.white@usc.salvationarmy.org or by cell phone at (314) 606-7847.
