5th Annual 22 Strong Walk

Building Change is hosting the 5th annual 22 Strong walk to honor and support United States Military Veterans. The goal of this annual fundraising event is to raise money for organizations who directly impact veterans. 

Last year, we donated over $80,000 to our beneficiaries. This year, our goal is to raise $85,000 that will be donated to the following organizations: FOCUS Marines Foundation, Joshua Chamberlain Society, Got Your Six PTSD Support Dogs, the St. Charles County Veterans Museum, and Re-Emerge. 

The event: Walk up to 22 miles on a designated route in St. Charles. There are rest stops along the route that have water, Gatorade, snacks, and toilets. Shuttles are available at all rest stops to bring walkers to the 22-mile mark – no, you don’t have to walk all 22 miles!! Stick around after the event to enjoy lunch and refreshments, guest speakers, and raffles and prizes.
