Kaldi’s Coffee Roasting Company Opens Drive-Thru Cafe at 1856 Zumbehl Road

Kaldi’s Coffee Roasting Company of Saint Louis, Missouri, is thrilled to announce the opening of a new cafe in Saint Charles, Missouri. Kaldi’s Coffee was founded on DeMun Avenue in Saint Louis, in 1994, and now has 10 cafes across the greater Saint Louis area and multiple locations in Atlanta. As an active member of the world of specialty coffee since 1994, Kaldi’s has forged many relationships over the decades serving restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses as a wholesale partner.

The grand opening was marked by a merchandise and drink giveaway to the first drive-thru customers and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by the St. Charles Regional Chamber and the City of St. Charles. Owners Tricia and Tyler Zimmer, sister and brother, attended the opening and welcomed guests with a message about the long term planning and work it took to open the cafe, saying, “After years of wanting to have a cafe in Saint Charles, we’re extremely excited to be here.” The Zimmers also presented a check to Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Saint Charles group, a woman-led program that promotes the involvement of women in the construction of Habitat Houses.

This cafe is Kaldi’s first entry into Saint Charles County, and their second drive-thru location after opening a drive-thru in Ellisville, MO, last fall. Both Drive-Thrus are open from 6am to 6pm, feature small patios, and allow for online-ordering and pickup. Kaldi’s Coffee hopes to continue to create memorable coffee experiences for guests while supporting the wonderful community of Saint Charles.
