Board of Directors

Scott has served as President & CEO of the St. Charles Regional Chamber since December 2004.

He is currently a board member for St. Charles Crime Stoppers & Vision St. Charles County Leadership; a member of St. Charles Rotary and the Frenchtown Revitalization Task Force; and by ordinance, represents the Chamber and is Chair of the Convention & Visitors Bureau Commission. Scott also serves on the St. Charles County Workforce Development Board and is a Senator with the US Jaycees.
 
Scott graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 1995 with a BS in Business Administration / Marketing and is a 2016 graduate of the US Chamber Foundation's Southeast Institute for Organization Management (IOM).
 
He enjoys bicycling, hiking, camping, volunteering, traveling, technological gadgets, craft beer, and hanging with friends & family.

Jeremiah Essmyer is a Missouri native and graduate of Missouri State University after completing liberal arts study at Truman State University.  He held a successful career in hospitality for over 20 years before starting his family.    As a parent, husband, and homeowner with unfinished-dreams, learning how to protect his future became and interest to him.  Since passing his first exam Jeremiah has been educating families across the Midwest about the one thing we all carry; Insurance.  

It is his passion to meet with you, help you grow, and aim to provide peace of mind at an acceptable cost.  When clients are faced with unfortunate claim histories he helps guide those families through the years of higher rates and carrier rejections while teaching strategies to better their insurance scores.   Understanding that a relationship with Insurance is a marathon and not a sprint is an early key to becoming a smarter consumer.
